I've been chosen to be one of Mesa Verde National Park's Artists in Residence this year. I'll be living in the historic hogan pictured at left for two weeks at the end of May. This will be my 7th national park residency (others) but it's been 5 years since my last in the South Dakota Badlands, so I'm pretty excited about this one. I'll be posting more about about my preparations for the trip, and will be keeping a journal while there. Internet connections are scarce on the Mesa, even cell phones are iffy, so I may have to post my journal when I return.

ReplyDeleteI applied for the 2010 residency and have never heard back from them, and they don't answer my emails. The deadline was in March. Any insights?
